 Members take turn to host the meeting in their own home, where we have a discussion on the current book and choose the next one. At the moment we are a small group but we would welcome new members. If interested, please contact Betty at the link above.

January 22nd a meeting was held at Betty's house and the following books were chosen to be read
February 19th Lessons in Chemistry by Bonnie Garmus hosted by Pat
March 18th Trumpet by Jackie Kay to be hosted by Linda
April 15th The Ghost Ship by Kate Mousse to be hosted by Maureen
May 20th Unruly by David Mitchell to be hosted by Angela
June 17th The Girl from Munich by Tanya Blanchard to be hosted by Linda
July 15th Pip Piper by Nevil Shut to be hosted by Pat

We discussed Lessons in Chemistry at the February meeting and everyone enjoyed the book The book was full of amusing incidents but also reflected on the difficulties faced by women in a mans world A book to recommend to other readers This book scored 8/10
