MEETINGS ARE USUALLY ON THE LAST THURSDAY OR FRIDAY OF EACH MONTH (OCCASIONALLY THEY ARE CHANGED TO A DIFFERENT DAY DUE TO VARIOUS CIRCUMSTANCES)
We are a small friendly Group which meets monthly. We try to stay in our local area and vary the meetings with visits to different venues such as garden centres, nurseries, NGS gardens, plus members' own gardens. Occasionally we visit well known places in Hampshire such as Mottisfont, Hilliers and Exbury.
DATES/EVENTS FOR THE DIARY FOR 2026
- Sunday 7th June - Sway Open Gardens - meet between noon and 1pm; Sway Place, Church Lane, SO41 6AD (next to the Jubilee Fields parking area). Free Parking. 18 gardens to visit via a free minibus. Programme/Tickets available from the Jubilee Fields on arrival. Entertainment, activities and plant sales, refreshments, toilets. Open All Day. Take a picnic or buy food locally.
- Friday 17th July - Lavender Gardens, Landford. Meet there at 10:30am. Table booked/Refreshments available. Please confirm attendance as we need to confirm numbers for the table.
- August - no meeting
- September - date tbc - Plant and seed swap at a Members garden in Lyndhurst. Refreshments available.
- Suggestions invited for the following meetings - October/November/December...
Car share where possible. Please let the u3a group organiser know if you will be attending and we can meet just inside the entrance. We always take time for refreshments during our meetings.
